OUR STORY

Back in the years of prosperity 2002-2007 Lucid became extremely interested in the opportunity that the FOREX market had to offer. Where else could you find a market that will allow up to 400:1 Leverage? We immediately jumped on board with a trader who offered us a chance to be part of a FOREX managed account. This is where the story begins!

For those of you who have been in the FOREX market know what I am talking about when I say "Adrenaline Rush." There is nothing out there that can produce instant gratification in such a short about of time. We experienced such great success in a short amount of time that we could not resist throwing more and more funds into the Forex managed account. One particular day we enjoyed a $400,000+ increase on our account in less then 4 hours. It was amazing to say the least this new found success was just getting started and we were only in our twenties. Little did we know, there was devastation waiting just around the corner.

People in general have dreams: dreams of becoming wealthy, dreams of financial independence, dreams of power, dreams of positions, and dreams of becoming an ideal person. We all have dreams and most of us are willing to pay thousands of dollars to obtain these dreams. We are not only willing to spend thousands to obtain dreams we will risk almost everything to get a little glimpse of success. I guess this is what makes us all so unique. All of us have heard about the latest and greatest get rich quick scam. We are drawn to them like flies are to manure. We have all heard the numerous stories about the trader who turned a simple $5000 into a mass fortune in just a few years. It can be done and has been done may times in the past. We love to hear these types of headlines and are willing to go to great lengths to obtain these fortune secrets. The reality is they are all bogus especially in the FOREX market. There is no Holy Grail to trading. Sorry to disappoint!

The FOREX market became hostile rather quickly and took Lucid for the ride of a life time. We had been caught in its path and there was nothing we could do about. Over a 3 month period we lost $1,000,000 cash with more yet to come. Due to the fact that we did not control our funds we could do nothing but wait hope and pray. We were forced to get as much education as possible and we became students of the FOREX market. It was time for us to really learn about the markets and become expects in the field. We paid thousands of thousands of dollars to learn everything about currencies and the currency markets not to mention the hours upon hours of reading, studying, trading and searching. THE MARKETS

I would like to paint a picture for you about the real battle that you are about to embark on. You are a trading warrior, also known as “Fx warrior” you are battling against four different opponents known as “the market,” “Fx traders,” “fx gurus” and “emotion.” It is four against one and there is little you can do to change those odds. You are walking into a battle where 95% of all who have dared to embark on this journey have come away losers. You are like David of old fighting Goliath. Your odds of winning are worse than you believe. “The Market” knows it has the upper hand and will show no mercy. It does not feel pain, remorse, anger, sadness, regret, or fear. That alone makes him the greatest opponent you will ever face. “He never sleeps nor sickens nor dies; He never goes to the hospital; He works on Sundays and holidays; He never takes a vacation; He never visits nor travels; He takes no pleasure; He is never laid off work nor discharged from employment; He never works on reduced hours. … Once you enter the battle field, “The Market” is your opponent every minute of the day and night; you cannot shun it or slip away from it; you cannot dismiss him; He yields neither to entreaties, demands, or orders; and whenever you get in its way or cross His course or fail to meet His demands, He crushes you.” He owes nobody, answers to nobody, and does not adhere to our everyday rules that we think apply. He does not consider you as a threat because he will move where he wants, when he wants, and how he wants. He is not beatable because his existent depends and thrives on the uneducated opponents which are more than plentiful.
